Well what a wow!!!! From the minute you enter the driveway, the building stands in all it's glory. On entering the reception also inside does not disappoint. The reception staff were friendly and greet you with a smile. The room we had was absolutely beautiful, clean and exceptionally comfortable, and also so well presented The aqua club is another wow and we also had lunch there to, in a lovely relaxed environment The spa within the hotel, again although much smaller is a nice quiet intimate space, and again do a lovely lunch Evening meal in the Ren mor was exceptional and again the service is second to none. Breakfast is also a great experience and the choice is fantastic Truly just a fantastic 5* hotel in a beautiful setting, and one of the nicest we've ever stayed in

We had a half day spa with connect massage. It was first thing and the sauna and steam room hadn't been used yet, and because they're on timers they were both off and took a while to get going. The massage treatment was excellent and it always is. This time I was with Paige, who did a superb job. My wife has a massage also but we don't recall the name of the technician. In any case her massage was fantastic. Definitely recommend the trestments here The Aqua Centre is really great with several different pools, indoor and outdoor. If you have access to the Aqua Center with a spa package it's worth noting that to get from the spa to the Aqua Center you do have to leave the hotel and go outside across the car park. The Spa menu was pretty sparing (two salads and three sandwiches on offer). We had sandwiches and they were delicious. The Spa package we got came with a complimentary glass of fizz or elderflower too, which was a nice touch. Overall a very relaxing morning and lunchtime.

The Headland delivered everything it promised. We spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary here and it was amazing. The staff are attentive and friendly without being too intrusive, the bedroom was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Loren who did my manicure was a delight to spend an hour with and my nails look lovely. We loved spending time in both spas and enjoyed our food in Renmor and The Deck. Thank you for making our time with you so special.

Me and my husband had a wonderful stay at The Headland Hotel for our anniversary! Parking was easy and free, which made arriving and checking in simple. The hotel has a lovely feel to it, family run, set within a Grade II–listed building which overlooks the ocean with spectacular views. Before check-in, we had lunch in the Ballroom, which was a nice way to start our visit. We also made use of the complimentary Spa and AquaClub facilities, and the heated indoor and outdoor pools were a real bonus, perfect for relaxing, especially at this cold time of year! Our room was one of the Best Double Rooms, with dual views over the Newquay coastline and Fistral Beach. The bath with a view was a really nice touch. In the evening, we ate at Restaurant Renmor and had an amazing meal! There were lots of mocktail options too, which I really appreciated as I’m pregnant and all the ones I tried were very delicious! For breakfast, there was a wide selection on the continental buffet, including fresh bread, locally sourced jams and honey, cereals, cheeses, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices, and much more. You could also order one hot item from the menu. Overall, a special stay in a great location with good food, friendly service, and lovely facilities. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Visited the Aqua Club for the sunrise dip and dine package. It was an excellent experience; the pools are lovely, a great selection of indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi's so we felt very relaxed afterwards. Towels and robes are provided which was a nice touch as well. Changing rooms were clean and spacious. We then went to the deck restaurant for our brunch which was delicious. You got a juice, hot drink, pastry, waffle/granola and then a hot dish all included in the price which was excellent value for money and delicious. Great to sit and look out over the outdoor pools to the sea. Highly recommend a visit!

Stay here for 1 night and had a lovely stay. We got a great deal on the winter steal and has a great time! Our room was lovely, slight signs of wear and tear, the electric bathroom blind wouldn’t work and the shower plug seemed problematic however these were the only faults. The use of the spa facilities and aqua club was perfect. We paid £25 after check out to use aqua club until 2pm and it was definitely worth it. The breakfast we had a Ren Mor was superb and all staff were very helpful throughout the hotel - we will definitely be back.

Upon entering the hotel we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The beautiful surroundings in the entrance and hall were equally matched in the bedroom. Inside the aqua spa we were treated again with attentive staff. The facilities are excellent. Our evening meal was at the Ren Mor restaurant and the attention to detail was on point. The food was delicious and there was an extensive drink menu. The cocktails at the spa and the restaurant were lovely. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and there was a good selection of continental. A truly romantic get away for my partner and I. The location, decor, atmosphere, ambiance, service and the amazing staff are what make this a wonderful hotel. Thank you again

Really lovely stay at The Headland, I stayed in a cosy room and it was perfect for a relaxed evening. The Aqua Club is fab, the outdoor area is lovely and under the cold night sky with the rain coming down the contrast of the hot pool and hot tub with the cool night air was delightful! The same goes for during the day looking out across the ocean. The lady on reception was super helpful, I can’t remember her name - long red hair. She was welcoming, warm and a great person to have greeting guests. My only let down was that breakfast in the morning, a drinks order was taken and then no one returned for a food order. My tea was delivered and the waiter scurried off quickly without asking for my breakfast order. I didn’t mind initially as I wasn’t in a rush but after half an hour of no staff approaching and me repeatedly trying to catch eye contact to ask for an order which was a futile effort, I heard the gentleman on the table next to me say to a member of staff clearing the table ‘I think the lady next to me has been forgotten’. Shortly afterwards an order was taken but the staff member didn’t seem particularly friendly and the whole thing felt a bit uncomfortable. When breakfast did come (45mins after being seated) it was okay although the wait was excessive, it was no better than anything I would cook at home and I wish I had just ordered to my room like my friend who ordered about 20 minutes after I went for breakfast and ate well before me. Overall I would definitely recommend The Headland for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend away (longer if you aren’t local). It is a good spot to enjoy Newquay and most things are in walking distance including bars, restaurants and of course Fistral beach on your doorstep. Plus the Aqua Club and the spa are a great way to unwind and relax.
